Centre for Internal Quality Assurance (CIQA)

About CIQA

The Centre for Internal Quality Assurance (CIQA) under the Centre for Distance and Online Education (CDOE), Sri Sri University, is responsible for maintaining academic excellence and regulatory compliance across all Open and Distance Learning (ODL) programmes. CIQA ensures quality in programme design, learner support, evaluation processes, and  administrative transparency, enabling a reliable and enriching learning experience for every distance learner.

Vision & Mission

CIQA strives to build a culture of continuous improvement and academic integrity within CDOE. Its vision is to establish dynamic, sustainable quality benchmarks in all aspects of distance education. The mission is to implement an internal quality assurance framework that promotes transparency, regulatory adherence, stakeholder satisfaction, and delivery of high-quality, learner-centric ODL programmes.

What CIQA Does

CIQA reviews Programme Project Reports (PPRs) and Self-Learning Materials (SLMs) to ensure academic strength and relevance. It monitors the Learner Support Centre, admissions, fee processes, examinations, and student-support systems. CIQA also collects structured feedback from students, faculty, alumni, and experts to drive improvements, strengthen learning systems, and ensure compliance with UGC–DEB guidelines.

Commitment to Quality & Innovation

CIQA promotes innovation and best practices across the distance education ecosystem.
It conducts internal audits, periodic review meetings, and ensures transparent publication of all required statutory reports. The centre works continuously to ensure that CDOE’s ODL programmes remain credible, future-ready, and aligned with national standards while providing a supportive and meaningful learning experience to all learners.
